Activated Carbon Filter cloth is a kind of heavy Felt that adopts polyacrylonitrile and being heated stabilization and carbonating which is about 3-16 mm. As 90% is small opening in carbon felt, so it has a good heat insulation and thermal insulation property in vacuum or in inert atmosphere especially in high temperature as well as a stable performance.
As its weight is light and specific heat is small. The texture is soft and it has a good property of adiabaticity. It is also convenient to operate while it is particularly used in high temperature vacuum furnace which is intermittent operation. Thus it could save lots of energies.
